Advocate since 1999, after obtaining a doctorate in law. Started in the Dutch Supreme Court law practice in The Hague and since 2003 advocate in Amsterdam in the litigation practice involving international companies.

Advises international companies and litigates before the Dutch courts, including the Enterprise Chamber (Ondernemingskamer). Is regularly appointed by the Enterprise Chamber as director or investigator in cases with complex international aspects.

Advises on international contracts, litigation strategy and good governance of companies. Focuses in particular on (international) disputes between shareholders and administrative bodies in legal entities. Focus on liability of directors, corruption practices, financial fraud and other unlawful actions involving companies.

Chairman of the advisory committee on the rule of law of the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA).
